| Drenthe has, besides the beautiful nature (see surroundings), much more to offer. At the campground you will find a large range of brochures with different activities. We also offer an up-to-date information map with diverse activities, hiking and cycling routes. Campground Vorrelveen has 2 rental bicycles, which allows you to explore the surroundings. Very close to the campground there are two recreational lakes: the Blue Lake ("Het Blauwe Meer") and the Hijkerlake ("Het Hijkermeer"). For the fishermen among us: you can catch fish at 1,5 kilometre distance, but also in the Hijkerlake you may use your angling rod. There are several small fishing piers. Activities:
